Microsoft Sure Step
The LINKFresh approach to implementations is based on the Microsoft Sure Step methodology which has been developed specifically for Microsoft Dynamics implementations.
This, combined with best practices for project control and change management and the experience of 15 years of successful Dynamics implementations, provides a tried and trusted path from initial proposal through to live operation and support.
The methodology consists of six key stages and a management approach that can be summarised as follows:
During this stage we produce a Solution Model for your business. This is a conceptual design which maps LINKFRESH to your core business processes. It identifies where processes or software needs to change, and it estimates the benefits of implementing LINKFRESH for your business. We also work with you to agree the principles which will define how LINKFRESH will be deployed throughout your organisation, the communication and reporting procedures and the training plan.
This is a key step where we map at a detailed level the current business processes. Then, through a combination of education and product training the team agree the future solution model of how the system will work. We also agree how data will be moved from your existing systems and build the infrastructure needed to support the implementation.
This stage of the project ensures that LINKFRESH will match your exact requirements. Using the conceptual design model the system is configured and the core business team trained on the solution. Functional Design Documents are produced for any interfaces and data migration routines and technical design documents are produced.
It is at this point that any interfaces and data migration routines are developed and tested. A full solution test is then completed along with sample data conversion. Test scripts and training material is also developed.
Up until this point we have concentrated on getting the system ready for the business. The Deployment stage starts with User Acceptance Testing which ensures that the business is ready for the system. The project team runs a real time simulation of your business in a managed and controlled environment. Testing is followed by the most critical point in any implementation – go live.
This part of deployment includes user training and a detailed production cutover plan.
The transition into Support is managed and the project review completed. On-going support is provided by a dedicated LINKFRESH Service Desk manned by experienced personnel, using a combination of telephone assistance, remote facilities and site visits when required.
Throughout the implementation the LINKFRESH Project Manager will work with you to manage the plan and budget. Risks and issues are managed in a controlled manner and communications are delivered in an appropriate manner.

The aim is to build and maintain an on-going relationship built around a sound understanding of your business and future information and technology needs.
